Why leather?
At Bone & Bowtie, we choose materials with longevity and lower environmental impact in mind. We use leather because it is a natural by‑product of the meat and dairy industry, material that already exists and would otherwise go to waste. Compared with many synthetic alternatives made from fossil fuels, leather can be exceptionally durable, repairable, and long-lasting. Over time it develops a unique patina that tells the story of your ownership.
